On demand 3D-printing
RAMLAB is based at the Innovation Dock on the RDM campus in Rotterdam. It offers national and international companies and student research teams the opportunity to jointly 3D print on demand certified metal parts and finished products relatively fast and on a large scale.
At RAMLAB, we help companies that want to 3D print their own metal products find the right equipment and settings through joint projects and proof printing.
The main technology for this, wire arc additive manufacturing, is being developed and tested for suitability in the large-scale 3D printing of metal parts. We hope to accelerate the adoption of this technology by giving partners easy access to the entire value chain. RAMLAB provides 3D printing robots and facilities, implements projects collaboratively, offers access to workshop locations and assists with certification procedures.
