People will still be needed in manufacturing environments to perform complex or one-off tasks. An increasing number of technologies are available to support staff in this kind of work. Examples include collaborative robots or ‘cobots’ designed to interact safely with humans, exoskeletons that help people lift heavy objects and augmented reality (AR) or digital work instructions for employees. We develop and demonstrate different types of people-oriented technologies in our field labs. We would be very interested in working with you to find effective and efficient solutions for your company.
We can help you address the various research questions you may have:
What opportunities do these new technologies afford? | •What advantages do they offer, what do they cost and what can I do to reduce setup and programming costs? | How can I organise my production process so that people and systems work together effectively? | How can I encourage my employees to accept and support these kinds of developments?
We are here to partner with you to discover the right solutions.
