Digital Factory for Composites (DFC)

International composite hotspot

The DFC field lab is a collaboration between Airborne, Siemens and KUKA and is housed in an old Fokker hangar.

At DFC, which is part of the Technology Park Ypenburg programme, a number of composite manufacturing companies (such as KVE, Promolding and GTM) are collaborating on novel solutions. DFC is fast becoming an international hotspot for new technology in the field of automation and the digital manufacturing of composite (a combination of fibres and resin).

At DFC, we believe in the fast, economical, sustainable and circular production of composite.

We do this through R&D, testing and demonstration and by implementing disruptive solutions and ideas. To inspire and promote cross-fertilisation, DFC regularly organises meetings and networking events for interested parties.
